AUDA exists to ensure that students of dance, artists, and citizens who believe Canada’s rich heritage of Ukrainian dance and music are enabled to have a distinctive voice in shaping Alberta’s cultural legacy. It is an AUDA voice that is innovative, engages broad-based community involvement, and is respectful of the diversity of dance in Alberta.

AUDA believes our strength comes through our collective and focused efforts to use the arts to help shape the image of who we are as Albertans both in rural and urban settings.

AUDA is fair, ethical, and respects the knowledge, expertise, experience, and perspectives of all Ukrainian dance stakeholders who entrust us with the stewardship of promoting and developing Ukrainian dance in our Province.
