Iryna Fedoriw

Iryna joined AUDA
as our Executive Director in 2020.
Originally from Western Ukraine, she enjoyed dancing with various groups during the rebirth and height of interest in Ukrainian dance, bringing the experience to audiences across Europe. In Canada,
Iryna was delighted to learn that her dance career did not have to end.
She is a member of Vatra, a group of adult dancers at the Edmonton School of Ukrainian Dance.
She looks forward with anticipation to each and every practice on Wednesday nights. To be decked out in a vibrant Hutsul costume and to perform the spiraling dance, laced with intricate footwork, is the best form of experiencing life for her.
If she is not dancing, she is probably reading a book, or learning a foreign language in her spare time.
