Markian Feculak

Markian joined AUDA in 2023 and has been dancing with the Dunai Dancers for the past 12 years.

He began his dance journey at the age of 4 with Yatran Ukrainian Dance Academy, later joining Verkhovyna School of Ukrainian Dance. Markian has had the opportunity to perform at various festivals and theaters in Canada, Argentina, Brazil, Spain, and New York. He is extremely fortunate for the opportunities and lifelong memories Ukrainian dance has provided him with. What amazes him most is how quickly people can connect over a shared interest of Ukrainian dance, music, and culture. No matter where you are in the world, Ukrainian dancers instantly connect.

Markian loves the vibrant costumes, fast-paced choreography, and energetic music of the Hutsul region. So it should come as no surprise that, if you can’t get a hold of him, he’s probably seeking out his next big adventure in the mountains.
